I'll admit it, I think AI is objectively cool technology, even if it doesn't always work so good

the thing that everyone hates about it are the people and institutions it empowers

and that they're burning billions of dollars to make electricity and water scarce while building confidently wrong chatbots that the surveillance industry can use to deny people health care coverage and preemptively explode political dissidents instead of, like, trains and healthcare and solar panels
